I am a down to earth practical person. I have needed to be in my profession as a social worker. I believe Reiki is simple and works best when we show love and compassion to others. Therefore, I have a simple traditional approach to Reiki which I believe it’s how it’s founder originally taught Reiki. I keep my teaching as simple as possible. Ritual is kept to the minimum and only used where I feel it can enhance a student’s appreciation of Reiki and their ability to attune to the energies.

I provide a comprehensive manual with an additional section included at the back which you can practice at your leisure at home. I can also offer One to One tuition for those that prefer this way of learning.

I am always happy to share with students my own personal experiences of Reiki as well as any additional techniques which I have found useful when channelling Reiki. I have been teaching Reiki now for 16 years and have offered many, many courses during this time. Best of all, I have generally learnt something new myself from each one.

Finally I feel that Reiki should be a joy to learn and with it should come an acceptance that we do not have to be perfect in order to work with Reiki and help others. So, I really do try to keep things light-hearted during the course of the day, encouraging students to be kind to themselves and enjoying laughter throughout the day.
