Thanks Steve for taking the time to reply. I am sure the Reiki you sent Ron would have helped him to let go and cross over into the light. Thinking of you and your family at this sad time.

with love,

Marian

Hi Marian & Feona
Thanks so much for your advice. I read a little before sending the Reiki on Saturday evening. One thing that struck me was a piece that said to focus on the heart chakra as the person holds a fear of crossing over in their heart. Something like that.
I did the Distant Reiki and asked that the Reiki helped Ron to let go of his fear and let him have peace.that was about 19:00. At 09:00 on Sunday we were called to Marie Curie. He died before we got there at 09:00.
Unfortunately I never got to take your advice but I'll be sending Reiki to the whole family before the funeral next week.
Thanks again for your advice. I hope you both have a great new year.
Best wishes
Steve

Hi Steve
This is lovely advice from Marian. Keep sending because I am sure it will help but yes, please don't forget that as a member of TRA the Reiki Care Service is there for you and your family in these circumstances so all you need to do is to make contact via this website and give Corinda your father's full name and current location. Everything will be treated in complete confidence.
With love and Reiki to you and your family

Hi Steve
I am sure the reiki you have sent will help. I would generally send with the intention of Reiki going to them for their highest good, leaving Reiki to use its divine wisdom of what is needed by the person. I think its particularly difficult to keep a clear head when sending Reiki to those we are emotionally attached to in end of life circumstances. I try to bring to mind a image of the person when they were in a happy place for them as I send the Reiki. Sometimes words may come in the process of sending for example Peace, Harmony and if so I embrace these and including them as gifts to send them on their journey. Its important to keep yourself well topped up with Reiki at this time, as the more balanced you are the clear you will be and the better you will cope with the challenges facing you and those around you. Remember there is also the Reiki Care Service you can call upon for extra support.

With love
Marian

Hello all

can anyone give me advice about sending distant Reiki for end of life care? My father in-law has days / weeks to live. He has cancer and is being care for in a Marie Curie hospice.

i have sent distant Reiki this afternoon. I'm not sure whether it will have helped. Does anyone have any practical advice for sending the Reiki in terms of affirmations, visualisations etc?

As you might imagine it's a difficult time, especially at Christmas. If anyone could offer any advice to help him cross over I'd be really grateful.

many thanks, in advance

Steve
