Reiki is my work: I give treatments in 3 clinics and teach classes regularly. However I often struggle to make a living. There are fewer people who seem willing to make the commitment to learn now, possibly due to the recession, but this is not the only reason.

Perhaps it is me: I do find it difficult to publicise myself - which I think is not uncommon in people who want to help others for a living. I know a lot of complementary therapists are great at what they do, but not good at telling people so!

Maybe I don't charge enough or maybe I charge too much so people feel they can't afford me!

I don't know of many people who earn their living just from Reiki, so clearly it's not just me. So I'm wondering: is it actually possible to make a living with Reiki or is it something that needs to sit alongside some other form of income?
