VACANCIES ON THE CIRCLE OF SERVICE

 FOR MEMBERS OF TRA

New CONTENTS and COMMUNICATION TEAM

Volunteers needed to get this vital new team up and running.

The team will support all TRA communications platforms such as the website , newsletters, Touch, social media and webinars – providing graphics and copy to promote The Reiki Association, holding the calendar of events so that all members can be informed via their preferred medium of when events are happening in the community.

Requirements:

Essential - A willing heart and a strong desire to offer service to your community. Ability to be a team player

Useful Skills – Creative mind, Graphics/Marketing/Communications

WEBINAR TEAM

Volunteers needed to join this existing team to ensure continuity of current offerings and continued innovative ideas for future offerings.

This team provide the vision, research and coordinate with webinar presenters and offer all the tech support needed for this monthly offering from the Association.

Requirements:

Essential - A willing heart and a strong desire to offer service to your community. Ability to be a team player.

Useful skills : experience of running online offerings via zoom, aptitude for technology , imagination . Full training is available to gain the skills for the tech systems that TRA utilises for these offerings.

New WEBSITE FUNDRAISING TEAM

Volunteers needed to get this vital new team up and running, to keep the money rolling in. Team will run the fundraising campaign for the New Website.

Generating ideas, setting up, promoting and administrating campaigns.

Requirements:

Essential - A willing heart and a strong desire to offer service to your community. Ability to be a team player.

Useful skills: fundraising experience, ability to think outside the box, creative mind, marketing and communication.

All Reiki folk are welcome!

One of our keynote celebratory sessions is at 4:30 pm Honouring the Past Gatherings and Speakers.

We are delighted that many of the speakers from our past gatherings are able to join us - Johannes Reindl, lineage bearer, Usui Shiki Ryoho and Furumoto Sensei successor; Paul Mitchell, initiated by Hawayo Takata as a Reiki Master, Head of Discipline; Joyce Winough, together they hold the energy of the Council of Office of the Grandmaster; Paul and his wife Susan Mitchell (Reiki Master) learnt Reiki from Mrs Takata in 1978; Rick Bockner, initiated by Hawayo Takata as a Reiki Master, will also be with us. 

Phyllis Lei Furumoto, Wanja Twan, Marta Getty may no longer be in the body, but they will be very present, well represented by their friends and family as they continue to live on in our hearts and memories.

We are expecting Reiki Masters Anneli Twan, Wanja Twan's daughter and Michelle Beauregard, Wanja's daughter-in-law.

Marta Getty's daughters are also be able to join us.


Please join us and bring your memories of past Gatherings to share. We are hoping that this heart warming session will help us to be in better alignment with the Reiki precept 'Honour your parents, teachers and elders'.

The Reiki Association would like to update you on the easing of lockdown restriction in the UK and what this means for Public/Professional Reiki Practitioners in the country (in the UK), where you live. This is in alignment with advice from the Complementary Natural Health Council (CNHC), the UK voluntary regulator for complementary health practitioners, 

England 
All Public/Professional Reiki Practitioners can return to work and treat clients in person from 12 April 2021.
You must follow Government guidance for close contact services on working safely. You can find it 
here.

Northern Ireland
Some of the current restrictions will be eased on 12 April 2021 but close contact services cannot yet reopen. The next review of coronavirus restrictions by the Northern Ireland Executive is due to take place on 15 April. We will contact you once a date is announced for the reopening of close contact services.

Scotland
The planned date for the reopening of close contact services in mainland Scotland and the Isle of Skye is 26 April 2021. We will let you know when the date is confirmed by the Scottish Government.

Wales
All Public/Professional Reiki Practitioners can return to work and treat clients in person from 12 April 2021.
